Human Rights Policy

e-Brainstorm Technology is committed to respecting and promoting human rights in all aspects of our business operations. This Human Rights Policy is guided by internationally recognized human rights principles, including the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labor Organization's Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

As a fundamental operating principle, we strive to respect human rights wherever we do business. We are committed to doing no harm, to avoiding infringing on the human rights of others, and to addressing adverse human rights impacts where they may be caused, contributed by, or linked to our activities.

Our Commitment

We believe every individual deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. We strive to operate responsibly and ethically in all locations and contexts where we conduct business.

We will:

  • Seek to avoid causing or contributing to adverse human rights impacts through our own activities, and address such impacts if they do occur in a timely and appropriate manner;
  • Seek to prevent or mitigate adverse human rights impacts that are directly related to our operations, products and services through our business relationships;
  • If we identify that we have caused or contributed to adverse human rights impacts, provide for or cooperate in their remediation through legitimate processes;
  • Continue to look for ways to support the promotion of human rights within our operations and our sphere of influence.
  • Guiding Principles

    Our Human Rights Policy is informed and guided by internationally recognized frameworks including:

    • The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights
    • The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR)
    • The International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR)
    • The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises
    • The International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work
    • The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
    • The Principles of Environmental Stewardship and Climate Responsibility
    • The Rights of Indigenous Peoples as Recognized in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP)

    We strive to integrate these principles into our operations, client engagements, and supply chain practices globally.

    Labor Standards

    We support the elimination of all forms of forced, bonded, or compulsory labor, the abolition of child labor and the prohibition of human trafficking. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or any form of abuse in the workplace. We uphold the freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining.

    Fair Compensation and Living Wage

    We are committed to fair compensation practices and support the principle of a living wage. We ensure that all individuals engaged in our projects, whether employees, contractors, or partners, are compensated fairly and in accordance with local living wage standards.

    We recognize that an appropriate living wage is essential to upholding human dignity and promoting economic well-being. Where applicable, we evaluate wage practices to ensure alignment with these standards and to maintain equity across global engagements.

    Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

    We value diversity and strive to foster an inclusive environment where individuals of all backgrounds feel welcomed, respected, and empowered to contribute.

    Health and Safety

    We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors, and partners, and expect our collaborators to do the same.

    Respect for Legal Rights

    We are committed to respecting the legally established rights and positions of all stakeholders. We ensure our operations and business practices do not undermine or interfere with lawful rights, including but not limited to labor rights, contractual agreements, and legal entitlements.

    Security and Human Rights

    We do not employ or engage public or private security forces. We uphold the principle that security providers, where applicable, must operate with full respect for human rights and within the bounds of proper training and oversight. We condemn the use of force, intimidation, or coercion in all business contexts.

    Environmental Responsibility

    While we do not engage in activities involving hazardous waste, we support global environmental protection principles such as the Basel Convention. Should our services ever expand into areas impacted by such frameworks, we will ensure full compliance.

    Respect for Land, Forest, and Water Rights

    We are committed to respecting the rights of communities and individuals related to land, forests, and water. We do not support or engage in unlawful eviction or the unauthorized appropriation of land, natural resources, or communal property. Our business practices prioritize ethical engagement, transparency, and sustainability, particularly in regions where land and resource rights are vulnerable.

    Due Diligence, Compliance and Reporting

    We conduct due diligence in our operations and supply chains to identify and address potential human rights risks. We expect all partners and suppliers to share our commitment to human rights and to operate in accordance with this policy.

    we report the implementation of our human rights due diligence through regular internal and external reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in our practices and outcomes. This includes annual reports, updates to stakeholders, and maintaining accessible records of our due diligence activities.

    Reporting Concerns

    We encourage reporting of any suspected violations of this policy. Reports can be made in good faith without fear of retaliation.
